![]() ![]() If you want to go cheap but still have some organization get a fanny that is Velcro lined/go to tailor to stich it on/Buy the shiity tape ones and then find elastic tabs that attach to Velcro/one wrap some shit, and make your own organization. Save you time when your shaking from the adrenaline. We have lots of really cool plans for the future on YouTube so make sure you subscribe for future c. It helps a lot when you can lay down your shit next to you and have everything nicely organized. Thanks for watching, I highly recommend this fanny pack. Seconds matter and you don't want to be fumbling and throwing your shit everywhere looking for something because you rubber banded everything together. Unless it's your 300th time doing it like some city EMTs. Of course you could just dump a whole ass Ifak in a simple fanny and go, but when you're doing medical on your self or other and shit gets real you'll be very stressed. The reason in dripping some cash in a purpose built Ifak Fanny is due to something incredibly important that many people fail to do either due to no or very basic medical training. Both do the job but the raid has a few more added accessories and is slightly bigger. ![]() The two I have experience with are the Shaw concepts raid v2 and Arbor arms Medical Nutruck. While it isn't rocket science I would say if you arnt going to get something super cheap off of goodwill then you should invest in one that is designed to be an Ifak. So, does anyone have thoughts/experiences with the HT Bandicoot that make it worth the wait? Or have suggestions for anything similar more easily available in the US, especially if it's around a similar price point? The biggest downside is apparently how long their delivery times and how high their shipping charges are to get one in the US. The one that most has my eye is the Helikon-Tex Bandicoot, because it looks like it has a good price, from a brand with a decent rep, is available in a ton of colors, and comes with dividers/inserts ready to go. I just definitely need to replace my cheapass Amazon special pouch everything is currently in that just gets awkwardly tossed in backpacks. I like being able to fit a bit more than a personal blowout kit, but not necessarily a full ouch pouch, with maybe a little room for some extra small tools. I will be using this pack for years to come. So, after seeing a few interesting examples on here, I've been thinking a lot about fanny packs, more specifically as a convenient way to carry an IFAK regardless of my gear setup that day. The inside main compartment, as well as the top outer panel, has lots of loop material for hook&loop modules to be attached giving me even more dynamic options. I like the way it's main compartment is made to be accessed from both sides as well as the top. I'm a big fan of having molle webbing on my packs, and the low profile webbing on this keeps the bag sleek when I am not attaching extra modules. Zippers start off stiff but smooth out with use. I plan to use it as a day pack for travel in the future. ![]() It's small enough to be compact but large enough to keep my daily items, with room to spare for those unplanned extra items. It has just enough space for a document folder as well. It has excellent organization options and I have been able to easily find a place for everything small and large from day to day. But today, Vanquest released it in black. I think it’s been ignored in large part because of the strange colors it was sold in. I prefer use as a backpack, but the option for conversion to sling pack is very cool to have. The Vanquest Dendrite is a sort of under the radar, low cost, sling solution with a ton of space. I bought this as a compact EDC backpack / sling pack.
